Bluebell Railway


 

We went on an outing to the Bluebell Railway last week. The society manages an 11-mile line between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead, using restored steam trains. We've been on the trains before, but this time we just bought platform tickets so that we could watch the trains and visit the museum. It was a great trip out.











Unfortunately, whilst one of the staff was explaining to us how the signal box worked, we were interrupted by a phone call from Tom's school, asking us to collect him early. This was his first week of full-time school and he was struggling to cope. Michael took this snap just before we left:
